Architecture Design MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century

Architecture Design MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century

MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century Arts is first national contemporary architecture building public museum designed by London based Zaha Hadid. This building is one of her most recent projects, the stunning 27,000 square meter space is Italy’s first contemporary art museum which houses both MAXXI Art and MAXXI Architecture. More than just a museum, the flowing design is actually a campus of buildings intertwined and superimposed over each other to give an experimental and versatile texture of spaces that can be used as auditorium, a library and media library, a bookshop, a cafeteria, temporary exhibition spaces, various open spaces for live events, commercial activities, workshops and spaces of study and recreation.
